Terres de Mistral can be a bit of a mouthful when ordering a drink, so professionally it is Terres de Mistral, but to friends and family, it’s simply Mistral. This gin is made from Provencal grapes and then brings in 12 botanicals to infuse it with its flavor. It’s also a pink gin, although it doesn’t go over the top with the color. It’s light and dry and it makes you feel like you’re drinking something far more expensive than it really is. There is a slightly herby taste to the gin, and you may even note the rosemary and thyme if you look for it. To bring in the fruity element there is pink grapefruit (which helps lend the color) as well as aniseed and mint.
