Barber’s Gin is a spirit so nice they made it thrice. Okay, not exactly, but they do distill this spirit three times using a copper still, which helps both purify the spirit while also bringing out the limited botanicals and even some of that copper flavoring. It’s a traditional London Dry Gin, so it will be similar to other London Dry offerings, if that is something of interest to you. It’s also clean, elegant, simple, and to the point. It doesn’t use a shopping list of botanicals. Instead, it uses four: juniper from Croatia, French angelica root, Moroccan coriander, and Spanish thyme.

Pairs Well With

There are days where you just need a quality gin martini, free of the extra flavors from varying botanicals. A London Dry gin martini is like slipping into a favorite t-shirt. There’s just something familiar and comfortable about it. Which is also why this gin pairs wonderfully with anything olive (hummus topped with olives, anyone?).
