The Illusionist Dry Gin is a unique and handcrafted spirit that stands out not only for its flavor but also for its magical color-changing properties. It is a deep blue gin that transforms to a gentle pink hue when mixed with tonic or any acidic-based mixer. This striking visual effect is due to one of its key botanicals, the butterfly pea flower.

The gin is made with a blend of 16 carefully selected organic botanicals, sourced globally, to create a complex and harmonious flavor profile. These botanicals include Mediterranean rosemary, lavender, chamomile, coriander, nutmeg flower, licorice, angelica root, and citrus elements like orange, lemon, grapefruit, and cranberries. Each of these ingredients contributes to the gin’s floral, fruity, and somewhat unexpected character.

The Illusionist Dry Gin is produced with a 45% alcohol by volume (ABV) and is crafted in small batches in Munich, Germany. Its creation process involves traditional distillation in a pot still, and the gin is then filled into art-nouveau styled black vessels, adding to its overall appeal and mystique.

This gin is highly regarded for its versatility and unique flavor, making it a fascinating choice for bartenders and gin connoisseurs. Its ability to change color adds an element of surprise and delight, making it a popular choice for crafting visually stunning and delicious cocktails.

  1. Floral-forward and supported by adequate junipers and warm spices. It is unexpectedly more bitter than most gin bottles I tried, but nevertheless delicious. Try It neat or in stirred drinks like vesper (will works well with Lillet Blanc to add more floral and bitter touch)
