While Jaffa 2512 is a traditionally-flavored gin, it’s a craft spirit through and through. First, renowned Jaffa oranges are macerated for two weeks. They’re then joined by cinnamon, lavender, and juniper, among other botanicals, before going through a final distillation that results in a zesty and creamy spirit that’s as alluring as it is exhilarating.
The process takes a total of four weeks, and only 200 bottles are made at a time. That said, this higher-priced brand is worth saving for.
Pairs Well With:
Jaffa 2512 is both purposeful and lively. That said, it goes nicely with prosecco or other effervescent mixers. Gin Observer suggests pairing it with a romantic dinner, preferably in the fall or winter, and perhaps with a lover who’s more a partner than a passing fancy.
