Broken Heart Gin hails from New Zealand. It was initially crafted by two German immigrants, but when one of the two died the second continued the project and went on to name the product Broken Heart Gin. It is made with 11 different botanicals and is crafted after a classic London Dry Gin.

I’m not rating the gin itself but the company. A colleague purchased gin from this company as a present, and upon delivery, it was found to be leaking in the box, which smelled of alcohol and was wet. When inquired about this issue, the response was, “Don’t you know the New Zealand physics… hence the leaking.” I do not recommend this company.
